Whispers Cottage is a private nursing practice run by registered nurses, midwives and child and family health nurses, caring for mothers and babies with feeding problems, sleep and settling issues, and postnatal depression.
The Cottage
The Cottage is a day stay facility located in Miranda, in the Sutherland Shire, in southern Sydney. (We have recently relocated from Jannali.)
It has room to accommodate babies and their parents, and has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Each individual room is equipped with a cot, including all linen, a play gym for the baby, and a change table.
Waiting times are minimal, and self-referrals are quite acceptable. Just call us when you think you need a hand.
Bookings are essential.
Our Aim
Our aim is to provide educational and practical support and advice to help parents develop the skills to confidently manage the many new challenges of parenting.
Meet the staff
The Cottage is staffed by Registered Nurses and Midwives, with extensive training in Karitane parent crafting, Tresillian nursing, postnatal care, antenatal and parent education, lactation support and postnatal depression. Between us we have 1,000 years experience.
Opening times
We are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
